Daniel Shakkour, Tree Expert

Daniel Shakkour serves as our Lead Tree Expert and is an invaluable part of the Roots Canopy team. With nearly three decades of hands-on experience, Daniel brings a depth of expertise that spans all aspects of professional tree care.

In addition to his traditional climbing experience, Daniel is an accomplished crane climber and a fully certified lift and machine operator. His technical proficiency ensures the safe and efficient handling of even the largest and most complex projects. His extensive background includes all forms of tree trimming, standard removals, and hazardous storm-related extractions.

Travis Shaeffer, Construction Lead

As our Construction Lead, Travis Shaeffer brings over 25 years of comprehensive experience in the construction industry. His expertise directly supports our General Contracting services, managing projects from initial site preparation and foundation work to final exterior finishes.

Travis’s proficiency covers all structural elements, including both wood and steel framing, as well as complex roofing and siding systems utilizing materials such as seamless metal, Hardie board, and custom-molded aluminum. He also leads the creation of custom features like decks and hardscaping, ensuring every build meets our premium quality standards.

Dominick Fulco, Equipment Operations and Safety Lead

Dominick Fulco is the driving force behind the smooth operation of Roots Canopy. As our Equipment Operations and Safety Lead, he plays a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing every tool and engine in our fleet. His commitment to preventive maintenance and adherence to safety protocols maximizes efficiency and minimizes downtime.

Dominick’s strong attention to detail and unwavering dedication to safety ensure that every project runs securely and effectively. In addition to his operational leadership, he is expanding his expertise across both Construction and Tree Service divisions—representing the next generation of leadership within Roots Canopy Solutions.
